Coastal Coffee Roasters is excited to announce that we will be hosting the MilkLab Barista Battle, a competition that celebrates the art and skill of coffee making. The event will take place on May 20th, 2023, at our Roastery in Durban, South Africa.
MilkLab is a brand that is passionate about creating high-quality milk products that complement coffee. They have partnered with Coastal Coffee Roasters to host this event to showcase the talents of baristas from around the country. The competition will challenge baristas to create the perfect latte art using MilkLab's range of milk products.
The MilkLab Barista Battle is an opportunity for baristas to showcase their skills, creativity, and knowledge of coffee making. Baristas will compete against each other in a series of rounds, with the top performers advancing to the final round. The judges will evaluate the latte art based on factors such as creativity, execution, and overall presentation.
In addition to the competition, the event will also include coffee tastings and snacks. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste a range of coffees made by our experienced baristas, as well as sample MilkLab's range of milk products.
